High performance dealerships for high performance individuals! Position Overview The Human Resources Manager maintains and enhances the Dealerships HR Department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.
Who would I interact with? This position interacts daily with the HR Director, General Manager, Insurance Brookers, and all other team members who are a part of the Rahal organization.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities? Updates job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Maintains organization staff by maintaining and improving recruiting, testing, and interview programs.
Conducts orientation for new hires Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees as needed; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
Administers COBRA Maintains employee benefits programs.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Maintains historical human resource records by maintaining a filing and retrieval system.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees.
Represents organization at various personnel related hearings and investigations.
What are the requirements for this job? Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
Strong Organizational Skills.
Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
Benefits Administration experience.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years HR experience.
HRIS Experience is desirable.
PHR or SPHR certification is not required, but preferred.
