_____________________________________ The Customer Service Representative is responsible for:
receiving and promptly responding to customer needs to support a quality vendor customer relationship; processing customer orders and incoming receivables; issuing POs and perform tasks associated with Navision and / or other software to support invoicing, shipping, inventory control and RMA requests.
This position is Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime pay).
Essential Duties:
Acts as first point of contact, answers calls, screens and directs calls to other team members as appropriate.
Manages customer orders; enters sales and production orders in accounting system (Navision).
Records shipment tracking information.
Issues RMAs to customers after gathering and recording supporting details or prerequisite information from the customer.
Ensures proper and timely response is given to any needs concerning customers and their orders.
Ensures service invoices are sent to the customers with the supporting documentation.
Prepares documents and products for shipping.
Issues purchase orders to suppliers for different product lines.
Accepts incoming deliveries into accounting system.
Supports Inventory (tracking and reconciliation) and troubleshoots inventory control problems.
Escalates and communicates to management:
customer complaints; discrepancies identified in inventory; and identified factors of limitation in shipping, etc.
Consistently, accurately and in a timely manner enters and processes data in Navision to support inventory control, invoicing, order processing, etc.
and communicates supporting information internally as required to support each.
Shipping assistance as needed.
Assists with quality assurance initiatives as required.
Assists Supply Chain Director as requested.
Performs other functions and duties as needed and/or as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School or Equivalent Three (3) to five (5) years' customer service experience in an office environment.
Microsoft Navision or similar ERP experience.
