Controls Engineer
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for projects relating to industrial furnaces, Metals (e.
g.
Steel, Aluminum) and related manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
Overall project technical responsibility and coordination.
Software Design and functional description writing for systems.
Purchasing specification and requisition writing Fabrication and panel inspections Customer technical meetings Develop and maintain project work schedules Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports Must have initiative.
Will work independently and collectively.
Must possess a strong desire to learn and build technical knowledge.
Domestic and international travel is required including potential for longer duration travel associated with startup/commissioning duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's of Science in in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science -OR- equivalent industry experience.
3+yrs Rockwell ControLogix PLC and HMI Siemens S7 PLC and VFD equipment RSLogix, RSView, Wonderware, Siemens Step 7.
Previous field checkout and startup experience in an Industrial environment Recommended Skills Automation Coordinating Electrical Engineering Human Computer Interaction Information Technology Manufacturing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
