We are working directly with the hiring manager to bring on the brightest and best for this long-term contract (12-24 months) with a high potential for conversion to permanent.
Desired compensation range $28.
57 hourly on W2.
(Contracts do not include benefits) Due to being in the US Defense industry there is a requirement for US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
(Sorry no exceptions such as 3rd parties, 1099, education visas etc.
) Production Material Planner needed to supports small manufacturing operations in the Canonsburg facility.
Responsibilities include:
Performs production and material planning activities for small program or factory Reviews enterprise resource planning data or other inventory records and ensures material availability for production builds Coordinates needs with manufacturing, purchasing, warehouse and other support areas Validates and processes material purchase requisitions and shop orders to meet demand Coordinates material movement between warehouse and production areas Coordinates and resolves potential schedule impacts to program builds caused by late material deliveries Prepares and maintains records of items shipped Ideal Background:
A High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience Good knowledge of IFS principles Good knowledge of the receipt and stocking processes Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows applications Knowledgeable in the usage and tracking of government/customer furnished material Ability to gather and analyze data Ability to utilize influence management when communicating with other functional departments Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to gather and analyze material planning data Developing knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning concepts Basic problem-solving skills Developing knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Ability to provide information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation Ability to work in a team environment to ensure all objectives are met for the work group Limited supervision required; no instructions needed for routine work, and general instructions given for new activities or special assignments May require knowledge of government property handling procedures Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
