Summary: Responsible for making engineering standard and code recommendations, inventorying and procuring equipment, participating in pipeline and compressor station projects, performing right-of-way sighting, participating in managing construction activities, and performing special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES/
Essential Functions:
1. Evaluate and make relevant engineering standard and code recommendations in order to complete projects.
2. Inventory, specify and procure equipment, pipe and fittings.
3. Participate in completing pipeline systems and compressor station projects in a timely and cost effective manner.
4. Perform field and pipeline right-of-way route sighting.
5. Assist state and local municipalities in various project tasks such as obtaining zoning classifications and compiling environmental studies, applications and other documentation required to construct, build and operate facilities.
6. Participate in the management of construction activities by managing outside contractors, requesting bid information, preparing cost estimates and providing overall support.
7. Perform special projects as required.
8. Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned
Knowledge and Skill
o Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
o Ability to pay close attention to detail.
o Skill in working and interacting with personnel at all organizational levels.
o Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products, including Word and Excel.
o Proficient in CADD preferred.
o Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Education/Experience
o Bachelor's degree in engineering.
o 5
years of industry experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
