Summary: Responsible for coordinating pipeline and compressor station project construction, estimating and ordering materials, overseeing daily work of both internal and external personnel, monitoring and approving time sheets and invoices, and monitoring material invoices. Supervises asset managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES/
Essential Functions:
Coordinate pipeline construction projects, plant projects, and compressor station installation.
Select, assign, train and evaluate subordinate personnel and recommend associated personnel actions.
Coordinate, estimate and order pipe, valves, fittings and other materials for all construction activities including operations and maintenance facilities.
Oversee and manage the daily work for roustabout crews, welders, concrete crews, electricians, and equipment operators.
Monitor time sheets for outside contract labor to ensure hours worked are correctly accounted for and billed properly
Monitor material invoices to ensure the correct quantity is received in good condition
Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.
Knowledge and Skill
Knowledge of welding procedures.
Knowledge of pipe specifications and ratings,
Understanding of natural gas compression and processing.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Working knowledge of oil and gas field construction and project management.
Required Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in related field preferred.
Five or more years of field construction experience including pipeline and compressor operations.
Previous supervisory experience related to field construction and pipeline operations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
